Since joining the financial services industry in 1998, Marc’s commitment to his clients has driven him to develop an expertise in managing the wealth management issues for successful family businesses, professionals, executives and trusts. Marc has attained his Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) Designation, as well as the coveted Certified Hedge Fund Specialist (CHFS) Designation. He is a Professional Engineer, and a qualified Branch Manager.
He is a past Chairman for Big Brothers of Burlington & Hamilton Wentworth, and was the founding Co-Chair of the Halton Poverty Roundtable in 2010. The Roundtable continues to successfully engage community members, leaders from the business and non-profit sectors, from government, education, faith communities and those living in poverty to collaboratively leverage the Region’s resources to begin to eliminate poverty in Halton through collective impact.
With over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, Ty brings a unique approach to wealth management and serving his clients. Ty’s prior experience includes a successful role as a trader through the global financial crisis, and most recently as Vice President of Purpose Investments, a mutual fund and ETF provider, where he consulted with financial advisors throughout the GTA. Leveraging this skillset, Ty has developed a passion for helping business owners, professionals and families navigate the complexities of growing and protecting their wealth and estate.
Ty grew up in Toronto, and has close family roots stretching out to Vernon, Kenora, North Bay, Sudbury, Brighton and Montreal. After receiving his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Guelph, Ty’s work experience began in sales with Xerox, where he consulted with small business owners on their office equipment needs. In 2004, Ty made the move to the financial services industry and knew he had found his home!
Ty has attained his Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation and currently resides in Toronto with his wife Nikole, and their two children Sloane and Charlie.
BobbieJoe brings to our team a wealth of knowledge in compliance and risk management from 10 years’ experience as an Auditor. BobbieJoe has a background in finance and accounting and worked for 15 years in the gaming industry before moving to the financial services industry in 2017. BobbieJoe is an Associate Financial Advisor with a strong focus on our teams administration and Life Insurance, her industry knowledge and broad range of skill sets allow her to make significant contributions to our team.
BobbieJoe enjoys researching, public speaking and is a former Brant Toastmasters member.
